About Fairway Woodworking Club
Fairway Woodworking Club offers a friendly atmosphere and a variety of well-maintained equipment. Monitors are available to assist members with personal projects and promote the safe operation of equipment and tools. Start-up classes are offered in scroll saw work, pen making, bowl turning and basic wood construction, as well as other woodworking classes. There are many items available for purchase in the shop, so stop by and check it out.
Sign-ups for new club members require a valid RCSC membership card (with photo); annual dues are $15 (good January through December). Stop by Fairway Woodworking during our open hours (see below). New members tell us that this woodworking club is so much fun – everyone is so helpful – and the projects are easy to learn how to make. For more information, please call 623-972-4385.
Our Mission Statement
Woodworking enables us to serve others through skill-building, fellowship, and a sense of community … one member at a time.
Our Goals
1. Teach every member to safely operate each machine to a proficient level.
2. Invite all members to meetings, survey members to determine areas in need of improvement and allow ample opportunities to serve other members.
3. Give members social opportunities including woodworking festivals, Christmas dinner and special occasions as well as an “open door policy” to visit and tour our facility with family and friends.
